- just about anyone thats used... if you got a daeler stop by and see if they have any in that range
- A good starter sport bike is an older 600cc Kawasaki ninja if you weigh between 150-200lbs and can controll your right wrist. If you are closer to 100-150lbs try a 250cc ninja. Rember your "starter" bike is just a stepping stone, in six months you will want to replace it. So don't worry if it has road rash on the body/paint. The important part is ( in order ) good motor, high quality tires, good break pads, and straight forks and frame, a full face helmet and the best portective jacket, pants, gloves, and boots you can afford. And rember over 50% of motorcycle deaths happen within 6 months of owning a new bike no matter how long you have been riding, so no passangers or stunts for several months. now go have some fun.
- hey. i was looking through a motorcycle magazine and saw that kawasaki has totally remodeled their 250 ninja and it's a hot little bike. it has a real nice and modern sporty look without the excessive power of a 600-1000cc bike. atleast check it out! i admit the 250 has never compared to the bigger ninjas and has always lacked that slick/sporty look but they got this thing lookin good now and its got a reasonable price tag. any bike can be as mellow or wicked as you ride but if u want to stick to a smaller engine then check out the ninja. plus you may find it priced within your budget and you can avoid the risk of pickin up an abused used bike.
- I just got my wife a 2003 Hyosung GV250 starter for $1500. They also make 250 and 650 sportbikes.
