Looking for a sportsbike, what are some of the best manufacturers?

Like I know Ducati but whats something maybe a little cheaper? Like fast but I want it to last long and be reliable.

3. Sounds like you are a beginner. I'd suggest sticking with no more than 600cc. I got the FZ6R bike as my starter bike. It looks faster than it is and it was 7k msrp for me!
4. some of the best come from Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, and Kawaskai. If this is your first Sportbike??? id say go with either maybe an r6 from yamaha or a maybe a Ninja ZX6r from kawasaki with the lower cc's but they are almost just as quick as some of there older brother bikes
5. In no particular order and I am sure I have missed some Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Aprilia, BMW, Benelli, KTM, Triumph… If you are a beginner, take a safety course and start small (displacement) with a used 250cc.
6. Judging by your question, it sounds like you're a nOOb to motorcycling. That's nothing to be ashamed of...we were all new once. However, as a beginner, a fast sport bike should not be your top priority. Take a motorcycle class and get proper riding gear first. Then buy a smaller, used bike to learn and hone your skills on.
