What is a good place to search for used motorbikes on the internet?

1. i would say ebay motors. But goodluck finding a way to have it transported to you. Who knows maybe someone in your area is selling a motorcycle. I would say give it a shot and ask the seller if they'res any way they can send it to you b4 you place a bid.

3. Cycletrader is good. If you have a local Craigslist (I bet you do) that would be good. Ebay is nice if you can travel. I know several people who have bought bikes sight unseen 1000 miles away, flew in and rode home. I wouldn't have the nerve, but people have done it. It would be a cool use of a few days, getting used to a new bike, riding over the Rockies for instance. Ebay has a rule that if you 'win' an auction for a car or bike you can reject it after seeing it, but of course you'd still be out the trip.
4. The two answers before this answer look to be solid choices but, of course, you will have the transportation problem to deal with if you find a bike out of your area. One of the best solutions would be to look in your local papers or a local classified paper. We have one in our area called the Nickel Classifieds which contains a wealth of local sales. This paper is free and available every Thursday. I would look in your local paper to find a bike that you can see before you buy it otherwise, you will have to rely upon photos and a description from the seller. One more option exists and that is www.craigslist.org which is free and covers many cities around the world including your area. See the link below for your area.
