What are the laws on riding motorbikes abroad?

Im 17, and Ive got a 125cc bike, and recently got my licence. I'm planning on going to New York for a while (couple of months), do I have to get one for there aswell, or is it just that you have to be a certain age to ride abroad...?

1. first you have to have a street kit for it a license plate and a motorcycle license and thats all your good. o and if your going to ride the 125 your gona use alot of gas not a good idea
2. Your local license will not hold good in New York. You have to get yourself a International license in order to ride in New York. Note that if you get yourself one, you can ride in nearly 30 countries all over the world. This includes the European union, Australia and several Asian and African countries.
