I wonder which would be better a Ducati Monster 696 or a Ducati Sportclassic GT 1000 Touring ?

Im a beginner . And i wonder why i should'nt ride one of these. Simply because i dont know much about bikes. I need xpert or experienced drivers advice.

1. The "better" bike depends on where and how you intend to ride -- street, racing, touring, commuting or freeways or surface streets. Without knowing that, all answers are useless.
2. If you are a beginner, I'd say none of these. All Ducatis are V Twins and are pretty torquey machines which in inexperienced hands can cause a lot of problems. My advice would be to start off with something smaller, get used to riding that, see how the bike handles etc. The three bikes you mention above although all v twins have very different characteristics, and as mentioned here already, as we have no idea of your experience or what you want the bike for, it is a tough one to answer definitively.
