Why does Nicky Hayden struggle so much on the Ducati compared to Casey Stoner?

It seems that it's a one man team to me. Rumours are that Nicky is heading to Yamaha if Lorenzo packs up.

1. yea it also happend to caperossi last here he couldnt handle the ducati the ducati seems to be the most brutal bike of the lot and stoners riding style just seems to fit it perfectly
2. I don't think it's the Ducati, I think it's Nicky. After he won the World Championship in 2006, everything kinda seemed to go downhill from there. In 2007 and 2008 he really wasn't bringing in the results that he used to and he was still with Honda so I think it's Nicky. In 2010, I think that Ducati should get rid of Nicky (as much as I love him) and give Ben Spies a shot on the Ducati!!!!! Ben is kicking butt in WSB and Nicky hasn't done well on the Ducati at all like you said so I think Nicky either needs to go to another team or go back down to AMA with his brothers.
