Are the Ducati 1098 and 1198 superbikes hard to ride?
Hey there, I'm just wondering if the ducati 1198 and 1098 superbikes are difficult to ride around town (25-35 mph) and to ride on highways (60-90 mph). Also, do they get uncomfortable? And can they be driven in bad weather such as rain? I am a medium skilled rider by the way. thanks!

- no, they are easy to ride... if you were a medium skilled rider, you would know... edit: lol yeah jerry, I'M the poser... level 2 noobs...
- The Ducati's have the most aggressive riding position. In my opinion they are the closest to full blown race bikes available for showroom purchase. Yes they are good in the rain, and yes they are good for a medium skilled rider. Ducati's are fine motorcycles. P.S. Magz is a Poser.
- In town the heavy clutch (and the riding position) will soon start to wear, at 60-90 they are barely into their stride. If your query about rain is in relation to the electrics, Ducati’s quality control has advanced massively there should be no problem there. Generally there are better bikes to ride in bad weather but it should be no bigger deal than riding any powerful bike.
- They're as comfortable as most sportbike but pull a bit more...25-35 your going to feel jerky riding around untill you get used to it..then its just like riding any other sportbike......on the highways 60-90 your still only taking advantage of half the bikes power.....if your not going to the track get an 848 or a 749 and save yourself some money....
- all sportbikes are fairly uncomfortable at low speeds and harder to handle. but at 40+ mph they are great. good tires on any bike are fine in the rain.
