Motorbikes Sale

I recently got a kawasaki sportsbike and am having trouble with it early in the morning?

The bike is an 07' with under 3,000 miles on it. It has started up instantly the last week all except for twice. both times were before 8 am. I just had to fiddle around with the self start and try a little gas to get her going. Im wondering what may be wrong? if this is common? and what i can do when its starting a little rough?

  1. Are you choking it? 1. Turn key to the on position, kill switch off. 2. Wait 5 to 10 seconds, then choke the bike. 3. Hit the start button. with it choked, it should start and idle high. As it warms up it will start to idle lower and lower. Then you can unchoke it.
  2. Perhaps the dew level (moisture) in your area is more pronounced in the early morning. Open the petcock - if it has one. Turn on the choke. Turn on the key. --Open the throttle a bit. --Twist open the throttle just after you press the start button. --Wide open throttle - release it right after pressing the button. --Play around with the throttle position when trying to start - to find where it's best for your bike each day. Once the engine catches and starts running, slowly and continuously rev the engine to warm it up a bit to where it will idle on it's own with just the choke.
