Can I get a 600 cc sportsbike when im 16 in England?

I live in canada right now but am moving to England in the summer. I am 16 and wish to get a Yamaha yzf600R. Will i be old enough to get it or is there a " cc restriction" ?

1. you can get any size of bike it doesn't matter how old or young you are.if your not breaking anything your not driving it hard enough.

4. You can legally own one, but you won't be able to ride it. 50cc is your lot at 16 I'm afraid, and by rights, even that should be able to go no faster than 30mph (48.28kmh). The bike laws here are a minefield, and by all accounts, about to get even more so.
