Need to know how to stop a Ducati gas tank from leaking at the drain bolt?

Have tried everything except welding.

1. Auto zone has 2 part epoxy (like play-dough)for fixing gas tank leaks.
2. Most European standards use a soft copper washer to prevent leaking, check a parts manual to see if this is your problem, if not, Fuel safe sealer should work on the threads. Then again if all else fails, JB Weld works wonders, but looks like crap.
3. Try Teflon tape on the threads combined with a soft aluminum washer.
