- Style. It's a very stylish bike. Japanese bikes don't seem to have that.
- hayabusa gsx-1300r all the way!
- I do not have specific differences....but my friends that have motorcycles say that ducatis to bikes is like ferrari to car....fast, beefy, sexy, expensive european beauty
- If it's your first bike don't even think of a Ducati. You're probably going to scratch it up and mess up the engine at the beginning. Just get a 250-500cc bike and after a year or two maybe get a different one.
- Suzuki, Honda & Yamaha are made in Asia (Japan) Ducati is made in Europe. Half the fun of buying a bike is deciding which one is right for U. Look at & if possible try out as many different ones as U can before buying one. Remember, once U buy one the money is spent, then its "Oh my god, i wish i had bought that one instead". To avoid this scenario, do a little research. Mostly have a good time shopping around before U spend !
- My girlfriend has a cycle. Of course she is only on it once a month for a few days. Get a Harley-Davidson. Biker chicks love 'em.
- Suzuki and Yams are in line 4s. The Duke is a V twin. That is why the engine note is deeper, more rumbly. Although the Dukes have had a tricky past mechanically, they are now as reliable as other bikes. Basically, the Duke is the two wheeled Ferrari. Its red, Italian and sex on a stick. It just has more cred than the Jap jobs. Luck
- Not a real lot they all have a Stinky, smelly, noisy, pollution making fossil fuel powered engine. And who in the cycling section really needs one of them. It's even difficult to transport a bicycle on any of them.
- Ducati is Italian while the others are Japanese. But they ALL belong in the MOTORCYCLES category, not bicycles. Hear that, Yahoo? CHANGE THIS CATEGORY TO BICYCLING!!!
- please post your question in the proper category (try Motorcycles, because this is Cycling, as in Bicycling)
