How can I make my Ducati 748 more comfortable to ride?
I'm 6'2 and weigh about 165. The rideing position is so uncomfortable. Even my brothers R6 seems like a cruiser compared to my bike. I'm wondering if there is a way to adjust the bars/pegs to get a more upright position to get some weight of my wrists.

- Look into Heli-bars. They bring the clip-ons back and up about 3/4" each -- it feels like a lot. I put them on my RF900 Suzuki, and they made the bike ride-able. I now do 300+ miles on an easy day, and I'm 56, with arthritis.
- A trick we used when racing was to pad the top of the gas tank and rest the chest on it,we did this during 24 hr races because with 4 riders it's not possible to set up the bike for this many riders.
- bar risers and a Corbin seat will help tremendously
- agree with the rest, swan neck clip ons or risers and adjustable rearsets will do wonders
- a ducati has a more aggressive riding position than an r6...it's just one difference between the two bikes ducati is a racing bike and, therefore, will have a leaned over riding position...racers don't want that upright feel...ducati doesn't try to make their superbikes to have a cruiser feel. the more leaned over you are the less weight you are likely have on your wrists. i think your problem may be bad riding position. relax your arms and hold yourself up with your abs and the tank...that other guy posted the message about the tank pad..use that your hands and wrists should be relaxed..even in an aggressive position
