Tell me about superbikes in India. Will we see the Harley VRod, or the Hayabusa or the Ninja here soon?

3. The fact is that as of now you can't buy any of the super bikes officially, you can only get it from the grey or underground market. Why? Coz India still needs to finalise and publish its emission standards for high-end motorcycles. Plus the custom duties are quite high. Apart from these two hurdles, the Harleys, the Suzukis (Hayabusa) and Kawasaki (Ninja) super bikes will have to have country presence, organise a dealer network, supply and service inventory etc. etc. which will take time and cost money. So it may take a while. But surely the demand is there and India is one of the quickest growing motorcycle markets in the world. Maybe your wait will be worthwhile.
