is there a reason why the website for ducati bikes doesnt show the price for each bike?

  1. Because they are very expensive and they don't want a probable customer to be immediately away. Trust me, I go to college to learn boring stuff like this.
  2. Because if you have to ask how much it costs.... you can't afford it. The service for a duck is just as overpriced as their bikes. Unless your loaded with dough.... stick with the japan bikes. There is nothing wrong with a euro bike.... just the price.
  3. Probably because they sell direct to dealers, and dealers set their own price, and you can't buy direct from Ducati Headquarters. So lets say the dealer can buy it for 10 grand. he turns around and sells to you for 13 000. if it's on the website at 10, noone will pay 13 for it, and maybe ducati feels like it can't sustain a direct marketing program, and requires a middle man so they can sell in bulk.
  4. because they're expensive and want to have a reason to have you show up to the dealer where after you are told the price they follow it up with the upsides of the bike instead of simply focusing on the price if you see it on their website.
  5. The first guy is right. Also, the website is for reference only. Different markets have different prices for the bikes.
  6. BECAUSE THEY WHAT YOU IN THE DEALERSHIP FIRST THEN THEY HIT YOU WITH THE PRICE AND CHANCES ARE THAT YOU WILL LIKELY COME OUT WITH A NEW BIKE.
