i bought a lot of harley davidson parts there is a set of apehangers that i have a ? about? these handlebars are 1 1/4 inch 16'' rise and they look like they do not accept risers all they have is 2 removable stud bolts screwed in to a plate inside the bars....how do they mount on the bike????? they have to have some kind of spacer cuz they are drilled and dimpled for internal wiring and ive never seen the round part of the handlebars bolted directly to the tree

Can anyone tell me where to find parts for a 1979 1000cc Harley Davidson Sportster? My husband is restoring a 79 sportster, but the shops around here don't work on them, and even through Harley Davidson, you can not get parts for a bike that old. Where can I find custom parts for a NEW (2007) Harley Davidson Dyna? I have just purchased a 2007 Dyna Super Glide Custom (FXDC). The front fork diamater was increased from 41mm to 49mm diameter in 2006. As a result many custom items, even those offered by the factory will only fit 2005 models and older. I specifically want a chrome headlight nacelle. The fork "center to center" spacing has changed along with the tube diameter so I can't just buy an older item and hone out the fork opening. Thanks

I need help with Harley Davidson specifications.? I am trying to help a friend with working in a Harley Davidson shop but with doctor's limitations. My 2006 Harley Davidson FXST needs a part? My bullet light on the rear comes with everything, but the tiny little chorme piece that goes between the bullet light and the bar attachment. Sticky front brake on a harley Davidson Sportster? I have a 2001 model Sportster. Where i live there is a lot of dust and humidity. probably not goood for any part of the bike. but the front brake handle has a lot of free play. I have to press it about 1 inch before i feel any resistance. i had it servicced a few months ago and the guy said that it's the Claiper that sticks and has to be opened and pressed back. Is that true? and is it something i can do by myself? Advise please.

Why are Harley Davidson motorcycles so expecive? I like HD motorcycles but they are so outrageously expencive. Some people say because they are made in the USA and since the labour costs here are much higher then abroad the company has to offer their products with a higher price tag. That is not necessarily true though since a lot of the parts are not even American and are just asembled here. So... what's the deal - why the price of a Harley is equal or even higher in many cases than the price of a car?!?

my Harley Davidson carburetor is leaking gas how do I fix it? I have a special construction heritage Softtail the Carb began flowing fuel out of the overflow on Sunday. I took it apart and saw the Left fuel intake valve was cracked. I went to Bartels and replaced that part as it had been superceded with an all brass piece.Once it was on I pushed it to the street and tried to start it but the fuel now flows out elsewhere. Is this a common problem ?Could the problem be in the floats? I dont know what to do at this point so any suggestions would be great.
